One owner from new, 1974 Simca 1100 GLS, purchased in June 2024 on a stop over in Reims, France. Despite appearances, this car has done less than 14000 miles, still on factory tyres holding air. From the tax discs and insurance on the windscreen, it's been off the road since 1989. I have all the original handbooks, service book (only 1 stamp in it at 5k) I photocopied all the documents before sending it all to the DLVA. Comes with 3 manuals (Haynes etc) I have done the NOVA and it has a UK V5 and registration RSX 558M. My plan was to keep it looking rusty, as it's the original paint, but recommission it, polish it, slam it, have the wheels banded on stretched tyres , a full custom exhaust on it. The chrome is very very good on it for it's age. Despite being a very much unknown car, you can still buy parts for it. The interior is very very good, a musky smell, but that's old cars for you. All I was going to do was remove the carpet, get it steam cleaned and put it back in. It is missing a passenger sun visor and the two passenger waist line trims. The only reason why I haven't done it yet is because the engine is fully locked up. The car does roll in neutral. With starting up a new business I just haven't been able to do anything with it. You can buy NOS engine blocks or second hand engines via the owners club. As I said, parts are available. So if you're looking for something unique, here it is. I can deliver to anywhere in UK if my fuel cost and trailer hire is covered
